I met bombshell Lindsay Doyle on the set of Devin Dawson’s “Asking for a Friend” music video a little over a year ago. As contracted talent with AMAX Talent Agency here in town, I spent quite a bit of time around hair and makeup artists over the last few years. The really fun thing about that period of my life was being on set with such talented and creative groups of people who have transplanted to Nashville from all over (like myself). This particular Devin Dawson set was no different — with a lovely crew all working together to create something extraordinary in Music City.

Lindsay’s client list is nothing if not impressive, with clients like Lily Aldridge, Maren Morris, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Karen Fairchild, LeAnn Rimes, Devin Dawson, Walker Hayes and Dan + Shay (just to name a handful!). Since she moved here in 2009 from Los Angeles, it’s pretty impressive that she has built such an amazing client list without the newfound tool of social media. I remember asking about how she landed such big-name clients, to which she explained to me was due to good, old-fashioned referrals and networking (like, real networking. Not Facebook.).

As a hard-working mother of twins, I was thrilled to pick this lady’s brain on all things beauty–inside and out–and what she loves to frequent in our busy Southern town.

The Nashville Edit: You have a pretty notable list of clients. What is the best part of working with such talented people?

Lindsay Doyle: I started working with Maren in 2016 just before she released her album Hero. I knew from the moment I met her she was going to be a superstar. I was with her for all her first television and award show appearances. Watching her take risks and stay true to herself, being apart of her team and collaboratively creating is the best part of my job. In those moments, you know this is something special and I personally love watching the world get on board.

TNE: You moved to Nashville from LA in 2009. What made you decide to move to Music City before moving here was “a thing”?

LD: I’m originally from South Florida and went to college in Los Angeles. I moved to Nashville almost ten years ago and I wish I could say I knew then what was going to happen to this city! I love the energy, community, creativity and drive that this city has. It’s why I moved here then and why I still love it today.

TNE: Do you have any favorite products that you use before your client has a big event or shoot to really look their best?

La Mer The Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask or Dr. Jart+ sheet masks and The Rich Cream by Augustinus Bader are my current favorites.
