A great time and a great deal of Bourbon, beer and barbeque was had by all at OZ Art’s annual fundraiser, CigArts. The barbeque was provided by Martin’s Bar-B-Que in a buffet-style dinner that included three choices of their world-famous sauces: Jack’s Creek, Alabama White, and Sweet Dixie. The beer was provided by Jackalope and the bourbon was from Belle Meade Bourbon, American Barrels Kentucky Bourbon, and Pinhook Bourbon among others. Guests enjoyed a night of casual glamour with models of Range Rovers and Jaguars greeting them as they arrived. Live fashion models showcased IWC Schaffhausen watches from King Jewelers inside while guests had a great time posing in the photo booth and bidding on items the silent auction that included among other things a guitar signed by Steven Tyler.
There was a performance by the Jack Bailey Band, which was followed by remarks from the evening’s host, Tim Ozgener who also served at the auctioneer. He reminded us that funds raised from CigArts make it possible for OZ Arts to “continue bringing world-class contemporary artists to Nashville, and providing unique educational opportunities for kids, families and life-long learners in our community.”
